We are currently looking for a passionate English Teacher to join the team in January. Whether you are an experienced teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT), you will have the opportunity to teach students up to GCSE and, depending on experience, potentially A-Level.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach English at KS3 and KS4, with the potential to teach A-Level English.
- Create and adapt curriculum materials to align with the school’s objectives and national standards.
- Assess student progress regularly, offering tailored feedback to encourage academic development and achievement.
- Utilize data from assessments to inform teaching, address learning gaps, and provide individual support to students.
- Engage in reflective practice, contributing to the ongoing improvement of the department and school.
- Participate in the broader school community, supporting extracurricular activities and school events.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience teaching English in secondary schools.
- Thorough understanding of the English national curriculum.
- A Bachelor’s degree in English or a related field (desirable).
