As a food tech teacher, you will be responsible for teaching KS3 and KS4 students, helping them develop essential culinary skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach engaging lessons as a food tech teacher, guiding students at KS3 and KS4 through practical cooking techniques and the principles of nutrition.
• Monitor and assess student progress as a food tech teacher, providing feedback to help them improve their culinary abilities.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the food tech curriculum, bringing fresh ideas and creativity to the role of a food tech teacher.
• Ensure students understand the importance of healthy eating and food safety as a food tech teacher.

Qualifications and Experience:

• A degree in Food Technology or a related subject.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience as a food tech teacher at the secondary level.
