KS1 Class Teacher – Special Educational Needs School in Ealing

Are you a dedicated and passionate teacher eager to make a difference in the lives of students with special educational needs (SEN)? Our well-established SEN school in Ealing is looking for an enthusiastic KS1 Class Teacher to join our supportive and inclusive team.

About the Role:
As a KS1 Class Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing, engaging, and individualized learning environment for students with diverse SEND needs. You will work to develop their confidence, enhance their educational experiences, and support them in reaching their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons to a KS1 class with a range of SEND requirements.
• Foster an inclusive, positive classroom environment that supports each student's unique learning and development needs.
• Collaborate with support staff, therapists, and parents to develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each child.
• Assess student progress regularly, using individualized strategies to boost engagement, achievement, and overall progress.
• Work alongside a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic, well-rounded support for every student.
• Build strong relationships with parents and carers, providing them with regular updates on their child's progress and welfare.

What We’re Looking For:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching in KS1, ideally within a special educational needs setting.
• A deep understanding of SEND and experience working with young learners with diverse needs.
• A creative, flexible, and engaging teaching style that encourages students’ growth.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with staff, students, and families.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all students.
