The Role:

As a Music Teacher, you will:

• Deliver engaging and innovative lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, fostering a love of music and developing students' musical talents.
• Create a dynamic and inclusive learning environment where students feel confident to explore different musical genres and express themselves creatively.
• Teach a range of musical skills, including singing, instrumental performance, music theory, and composition.
• Utilize a variety of teaching methods and technologies to cater to diverse learning styles and inspire students.
• Plan and lead engaging musical ensembles, choirs, and performances.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and differentiated support.
• Collaborate with colleagues within the Music department and across the school to enhance the curriculum and contribute to the school's musical culture.

Qualifications and Experience:

• A Bachelor's degree in Music or a related field.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
• A strong understanding of the KS3 and KS4 Music curriculum.
• Experience teaching a range of musical instruments and vocal techniques.
