As an English Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching both English Literature and English Language at Key Stage 3 and 4, and helping students to develop strong communication and analytical skills. The ability to create engaging and thought-provoking lessons is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach English Literature and Language at Key Stage 3 and 4, ensuring students achieve their best in exams
• Develop a curriculum that encourages students to explore and appreciate literature from various genres and periods
• Use formative and summative assessments to track student progress and provide personalized feedback
• Create a supportive learning environment where students feel encouraged to express their thoughts and ideas
• Collaborate with the English department to plan and deliver effective teaching strategies

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching English Literature and Language at secondary school level
