We are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic, and dedicated Year 2 teacher to join our dynamic and supportive primary school team. This is a full-time, temporary-to-permanent position starting in January 2025. The role is ideal for a committed educator with a proven track record in Key Stage 1, who is looking to further their career and potentially take on a leadership role in KS1.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that meet the needs of all learners in Year 2.
  • Foster a positive and stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity and a love of learning.
  • Assess, record, and report on pupil progress to ensure high standards of achievement.
  • Work closely with colleagues to contribute to the development of the KS1 curriculum.
  • Support the leadership team with responsibilities within KS1, with a pathway towards leading the phase.

What We Are Looking For:

  • A qualified teacher with substantial experience teaching in Key Stage 1.
  • Proven ability to raise attainment and support the progression of diverse learners.
  • Strong understanding of KS1 frameworks, with a passion for early education.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • A reflective practitioner with a proactive approach to professional development and leadership aspirations.
