As a biology teacher, you’ll teach science at KS3 and KS4 and specialise in biology at KS5, helping students delve into the complexities of the living world.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach engaging and informative lessons as a biology teacher, covering science at KS3 and KS4 and advanced biology at KS5.
• Guide KS5 students through more complex biological topics, preparing them for exams and higher education as a biology teacher.
• Monitor and assess student progress as a biology teacher, providing feedback to support their development.
• Work with colleagues to enhance the biology curriculum, bringing new ideas as a biology teacher.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in biology education, incorporating them into your lessons as a biology teacher.

Qualifications and Experience:

• A degree in Biology or a related field.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Proven experience as a biology teacher at the secondary level.
• A commitment to fostering student curiosity about the natural world.
