The Role
As an English Teacher, you will:

• Design and deliver engaging English lessons tailored to meet the unique needs of each student.
• Foster a love for reading and writing while helping students develop essential literacy skills.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including teaching assistants and therapists, to create and implement individualised learning plans.
• Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching strategies to ensure success.
• Support the creation and execution of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students requiring additional strategies.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes confidence, independence, and achievement.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking an exceptional teacher who:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
• Has experience teaching English, ideally in a specialist or SEN setting.
• Demonstrates a deep understanding of differentiated teaching strategies to support diverse learning needs.
• Possesses excellent communication skills and thrives in a collaborative environment.
• Is dedicated to creating an inclusive and inspiring educational experience for all students.
• Is passionate about making a meaningful difference in students’ academic and personal lives.
