Role Overview:

As Deputy SENCo, you will play a vital role in overseeing SEND strategies, supporting staff development, and ensuring that every student receives the personalised support they need to succeed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the SENCo in developing and implementing SEND policies and practices.
• Support the EHCP process, ensuring compliance with statutory guidelines.
• Provide training and guidance to staff on SEND strategies and interventions.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of SEND provision across the school.
• Build strong relationships with families, fostering collaboration and trust.
• Act as a key point of contact for external agencies and professionals.

What We’re Looking For:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with significant experience in SEND.
• A proven track record of working within a SEND leadership role.
• A deep understanding of SEND frameworks and statutory processes.
• Strong leadership and organisational skills.
