We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Geography Teacher to join our team in January. Whether you are an experienced teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT), this is an excellent opportunity to teach Geography at KS3 and KS4, with the potential to teach A-Level depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Geography at KS3 and KS4, with the opportunity to teach A-Level for the right candidate.
- Develop and adapt curriculum materials to meet the needs of students while aligning with school goals and national standards.
- Assess and track student progress regularly, offering constructive feedback to foster academic growth and achievement.
- Use data from assessments to inform teaching, address gaps in learning, and provide individual support to students.
- Engage in reflective practice and contribute to the ongoing development of the Geography Department and wider school community.
- Participate in extracurricular activities, school events, and initiatives to contribute to the school’s vibrant community.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience teaching Geography in secondary schools.
- Strong knowledge of the Geography curriculum and assessment practices.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Geography or a related discipline (desirable).
