Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that prepare Year 6 students for their next stage of education.
• Monitor progress and implement targeted interventions to support achievement.
• Foster a positive and focused classroom environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement an engaging and challenging curriculum.
• Communicate effectively with parents and carers about student progress.
• Support students’ well-being and resilience as they prepare for SATs and secondary school.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Proven experience teaching Upper Key Stage 2, ideally Year 6.
• Strong understanding of the SATs process and the Year 6 curriculum.
• Ability to inspire and challenge students to achieve their best.
