We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join our team in January 2025. Role Overview:
As a Science Teacher, you will:
Teaching and Curriculum:
- Deliver high-quality, engaging science lessons to students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with the potential to teach A-Level Science for the right candidate.
- Develop and adapt curriculum materials in line with school goals, national standards, and student needs.
Student Progress:
- Regularly assess student progress, providing constructive feedback that supports academic and personal development.
- Use data from assessments to inform your teaching, address gaps in learning, and provide individualized support to ensure every student achieves their best.
Professional Development:
- Engage in reflective practice and contribute to the ongoing development of the Science department and the school community.
- Participate in the wider school life by supporting extracurricular activities, school events, and initiatives that enhance the overall student experience.
Candidate Requirements:
Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- A Bachelor’s degree in a Science-related field (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Physics) or a related discipline (desirable).
Experience:
- Experience teaching Science at secondary school level, with a strong understanding of the national curriculum.
- Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are encouraged to apply.
