The successful candidate will be a specialist in Design Technology, capable of teaching up to GCSE, with the opportunity to teach A-Level for the right candidate. Whether you are an experienced teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT), this is a fantastic opportunity to work in an environment that fosters creativity, innovation, and professional growth.
The Role:
- Deliver high-quality Design Technology lessons across KS3 and KS4, with the opportunity to teach A-Level for the right candidate.
- Develop and refine curriculum materials that align with the school’s goals and national standards.
- Regularly assess student progress and provide constructive feedback that supports their growth and achievement.
- Use data from assessments to inform teaching, address gaps in learning, and provide targeted support for individual students.
- Engage in reflective practice, including self-evaluation and contributing to the school’s improvement plan.
- Contribute to the wider school community by participating in school events, extracurricular activities, and community initiatives.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience teaching Design Technology in secondary schools.
- Strong knowledge of the Design Technology curriculum.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Design Technology or a related discipline (desirable).
