An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic MFL Teacher to join a thriving school in Bicester, starting in January. The successful candidate will be an MFL specialist, capable of teaching French and/or Spanish across KS3 and KS4, with the potential to teach A-Level for the right candidate. Whether you are an experienced teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT), this is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a supportive and innovative school environment.

The Role:

  • Deliver engaging MFL lessons across KS3 and KS4, with the opportunity to teach A-Level MFL for the right candidate.
  • Develop and refine curriculum materials that align with national standards while fostering language acquisition and cultural understanding.
  • Regularly assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support growth, achievement, and language proficiency.
  • Use data from assessments to inform teaching, address learning gaps, and support individual student needs.
  • Engage in reflective practice and contribute to the school’s improvement plan through self-evaluation and professional growth.
  • Participate in the wider school community, supporting extracurricular activities and school events.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience teaching MFL in secondary schools, with a strong focus on French and/or Spanish.
  • Strong knowledge of the MFL curriculum.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Modern Foreign Languages or a related discipline (desirable).
