About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to inspire and empower young men to explore the fascinating world of geography. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and thought-provoking Geography lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, fostering students' curiosity about the world around them and their role as global citizens.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, deliver, and evaluate engaging Geography lessons for Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 in line with the National Curriculum and the school's Catholic ethos.
- Foster a love of learning and encourage students to explore geographical concepts, processes, and issues with critical thinking and analytical skills.
- Develop and implement innovative curriculum initiatives that align with the school's vision and the latest advancements in geography education.
- Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and challenged to reach their full potential.
- Build positive and supportive relationships with students, promoting intellectual curiosity and a respect for different cultures and environments.
- Play an active role in the department, including contributing to curriculum development, assessment strategies, and departmental meetings.
