An exciting part-time opportunity has arisen for a talented Resistant Materials Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in Nottingham. Starting in January, this role is perfect for a Resistant Materials Teacher who is passionate about teaching students in KS3 and KS4, with the possibility of inspiring KS5 students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging Resistant Materials lessons to KS3 and KS4 students, focusing on practical work with wood, metal, plastics, and other materials.
- Inspire KS5 students with advanced lessons in product design, manufacturing processes, and materials science.
- Regularly assess student progress in Resistant Materials and provide constructive feedback to help students improve their skills.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Resistant Materials curriculum and explore new teaching methods.
- Stay informed about the latest developments in Design and Technology education and integrate new ideas into your lessons.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A degree in Design Technology, Engineering, or a related subject.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching Resistant Materials at the secondary level.
