The Role:

As a Humanities Teacher specializing in History and Geography, you will:

• Deliver engaging and thought-provoking lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, covering a range of historical periods and geographical topics.
• Create a dynamic and interactive learning environment where students can explore different cultures, analyze historical events, and understand the complexities of our planet.
• Utilize a variety of teaching methods and resources, including maps, timelines, primary sources, fieldwork, and technology, to bring learning to life.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and differentiated support to ensure every student reaches their full potential.
• Contribute to the department's success by collaborating with colleagues to develop and enhance the curriculum, share best practices, and organize enriching extracurricular activities.

Qualifications and Experience:

• A Bachelor's degree in History, Geography, or a related field.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
• A strong understanding of the KS3 and KS4 History and Geography curricula.
• Experience teaching both History and Geography at the secondary level.
