The Role

As an English Teacher, your responsibilities will include:

• Designing and delivering creative and engaging English lessons tailored to meet the specific needs of each student.
• Fostering a love of literature and language, helping students develop essential communication and literacy skills.
• Working closely with a team of teaching assistants and specialists to create and implement personalized learning strategies.
• Assessing and monitoring student progress, adjusting teaching methods to ensure optimal learning outcomes.
• Contributing to the development and review of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) to support students’ educational growth.
• Creating a positive, inclusive, and empowering classroom environment where students feel confident and encouraged to succeed.

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for a teacher who:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
• Has experience teaching English, preferably in a specialist or SEN setting.
• Is skilled in differentiating lessons to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
• Demonstrates excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Is passionate about providing an inclusive and inspiring learning experience for every student.
• Is dedicated to supporting students’ academic and personal development in a holistic way.
