An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and passionate Year 2 Teacher to join our vibrant and nurturing independent prep school starting in January 2024. We are looking for an enthusiastic teacher who is committed to providing high-quality education and supporting children in their academic and personal development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Delivering engaging and effective lessons in Year 2 across all subjects
• Planning and preparing differentiated lessons to meet the needs of all learners
• Supporting and nurturing the individual progress of students
• Promoting a positive, safe, and stimulating classroom environment
• Working collaboratively with staff to deliver a broad and balanced curriculum
• Regularly assessing and tracking student progress
• Communicating with parents and guardians about student achievements and areas for development

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching Year 2 (desirable)
• A passion for working with children and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• The ability to adapt teaching methods to suit the needs of different learners
• A positive and proactive approach to challenges in the classroom
