Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Textiles to KS3 and KS4 students, covering the fundamentals of design, fabrics, and garment construction.
• Encourage KS5 students to explore advanced textile techniques and fashion design concepts.
• Assess student progress in Textiles, offering constructive feedback to help them enhance their practical skills.
• Collaborate with the department to develop and innovate the Textiles curriculum.
• Foster creativity and attention to detail in students, encouraging them to experiment with new designs and ideas.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest trends in textiles, fashion, and design.

Qualifications and Experience:

• A degree in Textiles, Fashion, or a related field.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching Textiles at the secondary level.
• A passion for teaching students the creative and technical aspects of textiles.
