The Role:
- Deliver inspiring Drama lessons across KS3 and KS4, with the opportunity to teach A-Level Drama for the right candidate.
- Develop and refine curriculum materials that align with national standards while promoting creativity and self-expression.
- Regularly assess student progress and provide constructive feedback that nurtures growth, academic success, and creative development.
- Use assessment data to inform teaching practices, address learning gaps, and offer tailored support to individual students.
- Contribute to the school’s ongoing development, engaging in reflective practice and participating in school-wide initiatives and improvement plans.
- Play an active role in the school community, supporting extracurricular drama clubs, performances, and other school events.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Proven experience teaching Drama in secondary schools.
- Strong knowledge of the Drama curriculum.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Drama, Theatre Studies, or a related subject (desirable).
